A useful tactic is to close in on a fortified position from one of the many elevated and mountainous approaches (which NPCs cannot traverse) and rain arrows down on foes from a concealed crag or gap. It should be noted that Frost Atronachs have considerable bulk, which can lead to issues in tight spaces, with your atronach trapped on the other side of a doorway or narrow hall. If youve got warriors on your face go for a frost, if youre dealing with mages, a storm atronach will destory their mana. Of youre fighting archers youve got a fire atronach. With atronachs you can quickly change between long range or short range allies. The Frost Atronach has a good melee damage and high health, but they do lack a ranged attack. Atronachs are alot more convenient and much more powerful. This spell summons a Frost Atronach for 60 seconds where the caster is pointing the spell. ![]()
